Tania and her unique art were the featured article in the August 6th, 2010 Art & Entertainment section of the Ft Myers, FL News-Press. The newspaper story highlighted her recent exhibit at the Cape Coral, FL Public Library.
Tania also had a piece accepted into the prestigious Art Encounter Exhibit at the von Liebig Art Center of Naples, FL. The exhibit will take place in September, 2010.
One of Tania's imaginative beaded creatures, a sea turtle named "Zuri" is featured on the back cover of the August, 2010 issue of Bead and Button magazine.
Tania's intricate beaded sculpture "Australian Frilled Lizard" won Third Place Award in the Sculpture Exhibit at the Visual Art Center, Punta Gorda, April, 2010.
"Sierra," a beaded fish creation, won a Merit Award for Tania at the Annual Show of the Southwest Florida Craft Guild, held at the Cape Coral Arts Studio, March, 2010.
A picture of Tania's beaded sculpture "Zuni" was featured on the back cover of the February, 2010 issue of the trade journal Bead and Button.
"Zuni," a turquoise beaded turtle, won a merit award in the November, 2009 Southwest Florida Craft Show at the Bonita Art League in Bonita Springs.
Tania won two Finalist prizes in the Fire Mountain Gems and Beads 2009 annual beading contest. Her beaded lizard creation "Zena" won the top prize in the 2008 contest, and was featured in Fire Mountain's trade magazine advertisements.
Tania also won 2 Honorable Mention awards for beaded fish sculpture in the September, 2009 "Aquarium" exhibit of the Cape Coral Art Association.

Tania Begg and her whimsical Lizzart catch the Caribbean style with vibrant colors and frolicking freedom of Florida’s favorite critters, Lizards.
These guys may not eat bugs like our reptilian friends, but they add to the Florida ambience with a touch of glass. Tania creates wearable sculpture with glass or semi-precious stone beads creating a unique accent to the Florida wardrobe.
Tania’s imagination, big as it is, has expanded her family of lizards from jewelry size to tabletop masterpieces and wall hugging sculptures suitable to the airy Florida home or patio.
Tania’s artistic growth has evolved through many mediums over the years, including Pen & Ink, Painting, Stone Sculpture and Jewelry design. A woman of many talents, Tania brings a spiritual ambience to her work, she is as much a work in progress as her art.
